Special Recognition & Giving Societies

We are pleased to recognize the many alumni, friends, organizations, and corporations whose gifts reflect commitment and loyalty to Ball State and its future. Your generosity makes all the difference to our students.

Your gift to Ball State may also provide you with special recognition in one of our giving societies.

Annual Giving Recognition Societies

President’s Circle - The most influential annual supporters to Ball State University are welcomed into the President’s Circle. Through their leadership gifts, members have a unique opportunity to transform the university and prepare today’s students to be the leaders of tomorrow. Placement in the President’s Circle is based on gifts of $1,000 and above each fiscal year (July 1-June 30) and are earmarked based on donor preference. The Ball State Fund, scholarships, Cardinal Varsity Club or programs that enhance student life are only a handful of ways that President’s Circle members choose to support Ball State University.

Cardinal Circle - Ball State University can count on members of the Cardinal Circle to demonstrate their commitment to Ball State every fiscal year. Alumni and friends who make gifts of any amount, to any area of Ball State for two or more consecutive years earn placement in the Cardinal Circle. Members receive a signature decal each year upon renewal of their annual support.

The Beneficence Society was established in 1995 to recognize and thank alumni and friends who generously make a planned gift of any amount for the benefit of Ball State. Planned gifts may be designated for unrestricted use or restricted to a particular endowment fund, scholarship, program, or project of the university that interests you.  Many donors add to or create named endowment funds with planned gifts.
