The David Letterman Communication and Media Building becomes a dynamic new center for the university's many telecommunications programs. Students, faculty, and staff from the telecommunications department won two regional Emmy Awards in 2006, bringing the university’s total to 18 over the past six years — 14 of them in professional categories.
