A family and consumer sciences scholarship fund in excess of $32,000 has been established by the estate of a former local resident.

The Warner Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship will provide scholarships to students in the family and consumer sciences department. A former Muncie resident, Cecile Warner was residing in Clearwater, Fla., at the time of her death. Warner was a Ball State graduate and high school administrator.
