The Board of Trustees adopted a 2009-10 general fund budget for the university of just more than $296 million as well as formal spending plans for auxiliary operations including Housing and Dining Service and Athletics totaling more than $85.4 million. The members also approved the establishment of three organizations meant to help facilitate the development and transfer to the commercial sector of intellectual property and technology owned by Ball State.
