High school music students and high school and middle school music educators will flock to Ball State again this summer. The university will host the annual Music for All Symposium from June 20-27.

2015 marks the fifth year for Music for All, one of the nation's most influential music education organizations, to bring its national summer music camp to Ball State. Symposium events are scheduled June 20-27.

Presented by Yamaha, the symposium provides high school instrumental music students and high school and middle school band directors an opportunity to engage in a week of instruction with renowned teachers, artists and fellow campers from more than 35 states and abroad. As part of the symposium experience, Music for All's evening concerts and events are open to the public. Performances include:

Yamaha Young Performing Artists (YYPA): 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, Emens Auditorium

The Yamaha Young Performing Artists program recognizes outstanding musicians from classical, jazz and contemporary music. Winners of this competition are invited to attend an all-expense paid weekend awards ceremony at the Music for All Summer Symposium, receive a performance opportunity with national press coverage and participate in workshops designed to launch a professional music career. This performance is free, and no tickets are required.

U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus: 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, Emens Auditorium

The Concert Band and Soldiers’ Chorus are the oldest and largest of the U.S. Army Field Band’s performing ensembles and present joint concerts on their national tours. They have performed in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries for audiences totaling hundreds of millions. This performance is free, and no tickets are required.

Voices from the Soul: 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, Emens Auditorium

Voices from the Soul is a high energy soul group of multifaceted musicians and performers, such as Joyce "Peaches" Faison, Mark Buselli, Kevin Anker, Joel Tucker and many others, who have headlined for legendary soul and jazz artists around the world. Providing a seamless collaboration of soul, blues and jazz, Voices from the Soul will take the audience on a journey of smooth but powerful compositions. Ahn Trio: 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, Emens Auditorium

A classical piano trio of three sisters—Angella (violin), Lucia (piano) and Maria (cello)—the Ahn Trio is known for its performances of new classical music, genre-crossing programming and collaborations with other artists. Born in Seoul, the sisters moved to New York City in 1981 and began their training at the Juilliard School, deciding to form a trio while they were earning their master's degrees there. Drum Corps International Central Indiana (DCI): 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, Scheumann Stadium

DCI's top corps showcases early views of 2015 shows, featuring the Blue Stars, Carolina Crown, The Cavaliers, Colts, Phantom Regiment, Pioneer and the Troopers. Order tickets for the DCI show at or call 317-275-1212.
