“It opened our eyes and showed us all the different ways the same issue can be tackled—and it really made us learn to compromise and come to a common solution that would be the most beneficial for the students we hoped to reach with the game. At times, we had our differences, but we always looked at the bigger picture and were able to work together well.” In an immersive learning project, wildlife biology major Nadia Roumie worked on a student team that created a video game to teach kids about Indiana’s native ecosystems.


Touring the Globe
Every other year, the College of Architecture and Planning World Tour takes about 40 students across Europe, Asia, and Egypt to more than 50 cities and 23 countries in 15 weeks. In this intense field study program led by two professors, students see, visit, and study diverse places, spaces, buildings, cultural environments, gardens, and design professionals.
