Art in Bloom

Art in Bloom is an annual event and exhibition celebrating the David Owsley Museum of Art (DOMA) through innovative floral interpretations created by the region’s top floral designers. The Friday opening reception is a fundraiser supporting the museum’s programs and acquisitions, and the free, public exhibition is displayed throughout the weekend.

Final Friday

Local emcees introduce PechaKucha talks related to the night’s theme that highlight what is creative and cool about Muncie and the surrounding area. In PechaKucha, presenters have 20 slides for 20 seconds each to explain their idea, business, project, research, or whatever else they are passionate about. Stay to enjoy music by DJ Janell, refreshments, cash bar, an artist demonstration, art, and more.

Final Friday occurs in September, October, March, and April.
