Student Code

Our office is responsible for administering and interpreting the Ball State Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities

This code is designed to inform the community of the general behavioral expectations that the University has for all students.

In order to foster social and personal accountability and responsible decision making, we encourage you to read, understand and adhere to these community standards. This document also outlines the procedures that the university will use to respond to violations of these standards.

A printer-friendly (pdf) version of the entire Code can be found here Student Code 2016-2017.

This is a living document and will be reviewed and modified as needed to ensure fundamental fairness, to ensure student and community safety, and to maximize the opportunity for student learning.

Our office welcomes input and suggestions for change from all our constituents. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for future revisions, please contact us.
