Educational Studies
Majors in the Department of Educational Studies prepare you to be licensed to teach subjects like music, physical education, and art in all grades and to teach academic subjects math, science, and English in middle/junior high and high schools. You will take courses in you chosen subject area as well as courses in education and classroom management. Majors focusing on the use of technology in education are also offered.

Special Education
Majors in the Department of Special Education help you understand disabilities and how they affect students and their families, schools, and society. You will have many opportunities to observe children and youth with disabilities. Graduates are certified to teach in their chosen area.

Counseling Psychology and Guidance Services
A minor in interpersonal relations is helpful if you plan to pursue a career that requires a great deal of contact with people like psychology, social work, nursing, criminal justice, and other human service areas.
