Several features of the building are especially noticeable in this area. For instance, the carpet throughout the building has been especially designed and was made in California. Also, the predominant shapes throughout the building are triangles and hexagons. Those shapes are especially noticeable in the Pre-Assembly area with the metal pan ceiling. The building was designed with those shapes in order to coordinate with the way that Bethel and Tillotson Avenues intersect. The recognition displays on the walls in this area are displayed to honor Golden Key donors.

This space can be used for receptions or for events held in Assembly Hall and the Meeting Rooms, displays at conferences, and events themselves.
