Bursar and Loan Adminstration

Tips for Financial Success

  • Check your eBill often.
  • If you make changes to your schedule, be sure you have:
    • Reviewed the university withdrawal policies.
    • Consulted with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at 765-285-5600 to verify if a change in their schedule impacted their financial aid eligibility.
    • Discussed any schedule change with their academic advisor.
  • If you are borrowing a Stafford Loan, accept the loan by July 15 at my.bsu.edu in order for it to appear on your first billing statement.
  • First-time borrowers in the Stafford Loan Program must complete loan entrance counseling and a master promissory note at www.studentloans.gov.
  • Students and authorized payers should review the eBill statement frequently to stay up-to-date on bursar account activity and balances due.
  • Any new charges incurred after the financial aid refund is processed will not have been paid. They will appear on the next billing statement, and will be due in full by the first day of the following month, as indicated on that statement.
