If you do not wish to attend classes for any particular term you must comply with the established procedures to either cancel your registration or withdraw from your registration. Your registration will not be automatically cancelled for nonpayment or nonattendance. You must drop all of your classes to officially cancel your registration. You should become familiar with institutional policies regarding dropping classes, individual withdrawal, and withdrawal form all classes. Visit bsu.edu/registrar for more information.
Withdrawal from All Courses: If you do not wish to attend any university classes and it is after the official start date of all university classes, you may withdraw from all your classes by contacting the office of the Associate Dean of Students/Title IX Coordinator in the Administration Building, room 238, or by calling 765-285-1545.
Cancellation: If you do not wish to remain enrolled in any classes in the next semester or session and want to cancel your registration, you may do so online by accessing your schedule through the SSB (Self Service Banner) link at my.bsu.edu. Cancellation will be permitted online until midnight Sunday before the beginning of the semester or term. You may also contact Registration at 765-285-1684 during normal business hours with questions.
Note: withdrawal may NOT be accomplished using the web unless you are enrolled exclusively in Distance Education classes. If you are enrolled in Distance Education classes only and need to withdraw from all of your classes, go to distance education course drop/withdrawal form (refer to the refund schedule for information about the percentage of fees refunded) to complete your withdrawal.
