Graduate Assistantship available August 20, 2018

Responsibilities: This position offers the opportunity to work with international application and admissions information in electronic and print formats while assisting applicants. Data entry and communicating with applicants via email comprise a large part of the role. As part of the student worker team, this position contributes to the work of the international admissions team by being responsible for the front end of the application process. This position also offers the opportunity to develop customer service, office experience, communication skills and leadership skills in a professional setting.

Requirements:  Student should have strong communication skills, basic computer skills (including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and utilizing the internet), problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, a positive professional attitude, and a willingness to learn. Student should demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable, thoroughly describe steps in a process, follow policies and procedures, and work independently as well as part of a team. Student should also have the ability to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, as well as the ability to read print resources and print on computer monitors.

Compensation:  $8,650 plus fee remission for 20 hours per week during the academic year.
