Computer-Based Testing

Computer-based testing is now available at Ball State which includes the following exams:

  • CASA (Core Academic Skills Assessment)*
    • Ball State University charges a sitting fee to all individuals taking the Core Academic Skills Assessment in the Testing Center. The sitting fee is payable on the day of your exam and is dependent on the number of subtests you are taking on that day as follows: All three subtests (Combined) = $40.00; Two subtests = $30.00; One subtest = $15.00. Payment in the form of credit/debit card, check or cash is acceptable.
  • Indiana CORE Pedagogy and Content Area Exams
  • Praxis I and II
  • GRE (Graduate Record Examination) General Test
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)
  • GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

*The CASA replaces Praxis I for entry into teacher preparation programs in Indiana
