The Tech Center
The Tech Center is located in Bracken Library (BL) 101 and offers technology support in a comfortable and inviting space. Staffed by members of Unified Technology Support (UTS), the Tech Center is home to services such as the Technology HelpDesk and Desktop Support, Hardware Repair, TechTime, the Technology Store, Instructional Classroom Support and Equipment and Projectionist Services, as well as the Concierge Desk.
The Technology HelpDesk has a comprehensive site that has been specifically designed to serve Ball State’s IT support needs. From our website you may access the IT knowledge base, report a technology issue or request assistance, check on the status of your support request, join a remote assistance session, start a chat with a Technology HelpDesk representative, and much more.
UTS General Information
Unified Technology Support (UTS) has brought together technology support professionals from across campus with the goal of providing outstanding technology support for the students, faculty, and staff of Ball State University. We focus on three key things – Help, Fix, and Learn. We will help you fix a problem or learn how to use a new application. We also provide information and guidance to help you use the vast technology resources that you will find across campus.
Through a wide range of services, UTS will provide a dynamic, energetic, collaborative and enabling environment that encourages the use of emerging technologies and the development of learner centered content and tools.
