Manager of Publications and Web Services
Victoria Meldrum is the manager of publications and web services for the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University. Through CBER, she creates infographics, publications, and data-delivery websites for an audience of business professionals, policy makers, and government agencies. She also produces event materials for the departments within the Miller College of Business. She has held design positions within CBER since Fall 2006.
Meldrum has completed a two-year term on the board for AUBER (Association for University Business and Economic Research). During her time at Ball State, the CBER publications team has earned the AUBER Award for Excellence in Publications for the CBER Data Center (2014 website category), the American Journal of Business (2010 magazine/academic journal), CBER Open House (2009 multimedia event campaign), and Local Government Reform in Indiana (2009 technical/contract report).
Meldrum was recognized as an emerging scholar at the twelfth annual International Conference on Design Principles & Practices in Barcelona (Spain), where she served as a moderator and chair for concurrent sessions in the Design in Society, Environmental Design, and the No Boundaries Design tracks. Along with her colleague Sara Niccum, she presented "The Path to Success Quest: Using design thinking to create a user-centered experience that prepares high school students for adulthood," a collaborative project developed with Ball State's Center for Emerging Media Design and Development.
Locally, Meldrum is a member of Muncie Young Professionals and the Ball State Women's Club. She is a former student design editor of the student multimedia site Ball Bearings online. Meldrum earned a bachelor's degree in journalism graphics from Ball State University in Spring 2008 and is pursuing a master’s degree in emerging media design and development.
