Ball State faculty and staff members have been participating in cutting edge research for several years, focusing on various facets of emerging media and playing a key role in delivering information, developing Indiana's digital economy, and assisting the state's growing media companies.
This vibrant community continues to expand across the curriculum through
the Emerging Media New Faculty Fellowship program, which provides
incentives and start-up funding for new faculty with strength and
expertise in the use and study of emerging media. Since its launch in
fall 2009, New Faculty Fellows have been added to the departments of
Architecture, Art, Educational Studies, English, Geography, Journalism,
