Our master's degrees in biology will prepare you for teaching, conducting laboratory and field work, technical writing, or continuing study. You can choose from a master of science in biology or master of arts in biology.
Experienced faculty provide in-depth coverage of human physiological principles should you chose the master of arts in physiology or master of science in physiology. These principles include endocrinology, renal physiology, cardiovascular dynamics, neuroscience, aging and pathophysiology in small interactive classes using state-of-the-art research techniques. You may also have the opportunity to learn up-close through our physician shadowing program. Focus areas include kidney injury mechanisms, gastrointestinal disorders, and autoimmunity and synaptic transmission.
We also offer a graduate minor in biology in which you have a wide range of focus areas to choose from to complement your other degree.
