The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CJC) and the Department of Political Science jointly offer a master of public administration (MPA) degree with a concentration in criminal justice. This program will prepare you for a leadership role in criminal justice/public administration agencies as well as provide you with a solid base from which to pursue doctoral study.

If you currently work in a criminal justice profession and would like to further develop your skills and knowledge to advance in your field or if you are currently an undergraduate wishing to pursue graduate study in criminal justice and public administration, this program is a perfect fit for you. This program will prepare you with the expertise and administrative skills necessary to address the evolving problems and issues criminal justice practitioners face in their daily professional lives.
