About Rachel Geesa

Dr. Rachel Geesa is an experienced teacher, administrator, and scholar in P-12 schools in Indiana and the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). She joined the faculty at Ball State in 2015. Dr. Geesa’s research agenda includes exploring academic, professional, and personal development and support of educational leaders in local to international areas.

Professional Experience

Dr. Geesa is an Assistant Professor who teaches primarily in the principal preparation program. She also works with doctoral students in a peer mentoring program and serves as the director of the department’s Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) Program.
