How does the idea of completing a minor while working towards a professional certification sound? Our minor in financial planning sets you on course to meet the educational requirements to take the Certified Financial Planning exam.

Minor Requirements

Our minor introduces you to basic concepts in the field. This is accomplished by requiring you to complete six relevant courses. A minor is designed to augment a student’s major field of study or to satisfy a student’s curiosity about the discipline.

With a minor in financial planning, you’ll learn the fundamentals of personal financial planning over 18 credits.
