Do you love infographics: maps, charts, diagrams, and data visualizations? Are you fascinated with typography, colors, design, and layout? If so, our journalism graphics program is for you.

Graphics are essential to news, advertising, public relations, and all strategic communications. Skillfully executed, graphics illuminate complex information in interesting, entertaining, and enlightening ways. More and more organizations, including higher education, are looking for people who can present data in a way that visually engages audiences.

Our journalism graphics program is nationally recognized, and you will work with our award winning faculty. In addition, you will have access to facilities and labs that are second to none. Finally, our focus on immersive learning will allow you to gain real-world experience.

Many of our graduates go on to some of the nation’s top publications, design firms, and creative agencies—including Time and CNN—working as:

  • art director
  • graphic designer
  • photojournalist
  • visual storyteller
