To earn a graduate certificate in health economics, policy, and administration, you will need to take the following courses:

    or, MBA 651 Economic Analysis for Managers (3 credit hours) or, NUR 662 (Health Care Business and Economics (3 credit hours)
  • ECON 683 Health Economic Analysis (3 credit hours)
  • ECON 693 Health Economics and Policy (3 credit hours)

Choose one Elective course among the following (3 hours):

  • MGT 661 Human Resource Management (3 credit hours)
  • MKG 505 Survey of Marketing (3 credit hours)
  • RMI 570 Risk Management and Insurance (3 credit hours)
  • NUR 642 Administrative Management for Nurses (3 credit hours) 
  • NUR 643 Financial Management for Nurses  (3 credit hours)

Many of the certificate courses are taught via fixed-time online for two hours one evening each week. However, for optimal flexibility, you may opt to view the lecture at a later time. Courses generally have weekly assignments.
