Academic Advisor for Miller College of Business
Jayson Jarrett is an academic advisor at Ball State University, serving students in the Miller College of Business. He is an alumnus of Ball State University, earning a master's degree in political science (2005) and a bachelor's degree in history (2001). In his professional career, he has held advising positions in several offices on campus: the Freshmen Academic Advising Center, the Athlete Advising Resource Center, and the Miller College of Business Student Services. He has also served as the site manager of the correctional education program through the School of Extended Education.
Jarrett earned a 2008 Dean's Award from the Ball State University School of Extended Education and the 2004 Julia Vizor Graduate Student Conference Presentation Award from the National College and Learning Center Association for his presentation "Tutor Training and Supplemental Instruction at Ball State University," a topic he pursued during his graduate assistantship with the University College Learning Center.
