John teaches courses in hazardous waste management, site remediation technologies, and environmental assessment. He advises the department’s Environmental Protection option. John also is director of our academic program in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. His research addresses the management of hazardous wastes and remediation of sites contaminated with explosives, heavy metals and hydrocarbons.
