Admissions and Registration

Returning Dual Credit Students

If you have already registered and/or taken Ball State dual credit courses and want to register for another course, log into the Self-Service Banner section of MyBSU.

New Students: How to Apply

Complete the following:

1. Check if you meet the admission requirements for the program.

2. Fill out and mail to us the high school permission form. This will need to be signed by you, your parents and your high school principal or guidance counselor.

3. Review and fill out the student information release authorization. This is a federal requirement to be in compliance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974.

4. Select a school to start the registration/admission process from the high school list below. Don't see your high school? Select "other school." There are several steps to this part of the process. You may download our step-by-step guide for new students to help you. If courses aren't listed for your school, please contact our office at 765-285-1581.

Error Messages
If you receive an error message that reads “Caution“ the system appears to know who you are. Perhaps you applied to Ball State or had your SAT or ACT scores or transcript sent here. If you receive this message, fill out the Student Verification form and send it to  Nancy Day, Program Coordinator for processing. Watch your email account for your username and password.

This process is related to admission in Ball State's dual credit courses and is not related to university admission. If you are interested in attending Ball State as a college freshman, you will apply through Ball State's undergraduate admissions office.
