Ball State University’s Digital Scholarship Lab is a joint undertaking of University Libraries, the Office of Information Technology, and Academic Affairs. It serves as a hub for the production, dissemination, and sustainability and preservation of digital scholarship produced by Ball State’s faculty and staff.
The DSL supports research and scholarly communication that employs a variety of tools and methods, including:
- 3D visualization
- Text mining and visualizations
- Data mining and visualizations
- GIS-based and other mapping projects
- Archival management
- Metadata development
- Database development
- Digital curation and preservation
- Publishing platforms
