You'll need to formally accept your offer of admission and pay a $100 nonrefundable enrollment deposit. Also, you need to complete this step in order to apply for certain types of financial aid, sign up for housing, and other important steps to getting started at Ball State.

You may confirm your enrollment either:

  • online – You will need to set up your MyBSU account first.
  • by mail – You maycomplete the form we sent you with your admission packet or download a new one.

Accept My Offer

You’ll need activate your account for MyBSU, which our students, faculty, and staff use for important university business, such as accepting financial aid, signing up for housing, registering for Orientation and classes, and paying fees.

To set up MyBSU:

  • Find your Ball State ID number in your admission packet.
  • Contact the Technology HelpDesk. (The HelpDesk can also help with username and password problems or you may learn more online.)

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 10 to receive maximum consideration for undergraduate financial aid. Then, use your MyBSU account to view your financial aid awards. With this being the first year of prior prior, our hope is to have financial aid awards available in mid January.

Confirmed and planning to live on campus? Apply for housing online by June 1. Request your residence hall room type, search for and request a roommate, and choose a meal plan.

At Orientation, you’ll register for classes, get your Ball State ID Card, and more. Orientation invitations will be mailed to confirmed students starting with instructions to register.
