If you're a graduate student working on your thesis or dissertation, most likely you could really benefit from some sustained, quiet writing time. Build that time into your schedule by signing up to attend the Mini Dissertation & Thesis Writing Boot Camp! The session is hosted by The Writing Center and the Graduate School and will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 9:00am to 3:00pm in Bracken Library, Room 215.
It might sound kind of scary, but the goal of the boot camp is simply to help you make substantial progress on your final graduate writing project.
The boot camp will be facilitated by Dr. Jackie Grutsch McKinney, English faculty member and director of the Writing Center, and Morgan Gross, a PhD candidate in Rhetoric and Composition. The mini boot camp will include goal-setting, over four hours of writing time, a mini-lesson on writing over lunch, and an option for an individual consultation with the facilitators.
Sorry, this session is full !
