Join assistant professor of trombone Chris Van Hof with guest artist Natalie Mannix for a day and a half of learning and music making. Natalie Mannix is assistant professor of trombone at the University of North Texas, principal trombonist of the Delaware Symphony, and a former member of the United States Navy Band in Washington, DC.

The Festival will feature recitals, master classes, and mass trombone ensemble participation for all.

  • noon-1:00 p.m. | (lunch on your own)
  • 1:00-2:00 p.m. | Chris Van Hof master class for high school students (MIB 152)
  • 2:15-3:15 p.m. | Observe open rehearsal with Canadian Brass and Wind Ensemble (Sursa Hall)
  • 3:30-4:00 p.m. | Mass Ensemble sound check in Pruis Hall
  • 4:30-5:30 p.m. | Closing concert featuring Ball State Cardinal Trombone Choir, Natalie Mannix, and Mass Ensemble (Pruis Hall)
  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. | (dinner on your own)
  • 7:30 p.m. | Canadian Brass Concert, with Cardinal Trombone Choir opening
