One new Ball State initiative organized by SAT is the Cardinal Closet, where faculty and staff members help students preparing for the interview process by donating men's and women's gently used and new professional dress clothing. The Cardinal Closet is open by appointment for eligible students to select up to three items a semester. This service is open to students who demonstrate financial need. Faculty and staff members are encouraged to refer students they know who may be in need. Students must make an appointment in advance to shop in the Cardinal Closet.
