Interested in the Living-Learning Community Alternative Spring Break Trip for March 4-11, 2017?
During your first year at Ball State, you'll spend a lot of time with people who share your interests and passions. Living-learning communities give you the chance to live with others pursuing your area of study or lifestyle choices and encourage interaction outside the classroom.
These communities are part of the university's set of programs to provide a supportive environment for freshmen, which has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report since 2004.
Faculty members from academic departments, schools, and colleges are involved to facilitate study sessions and advise you. Most freshmen studying these majors will be assigned to these halls, while returning students may make this request when renewing their housing and dining contracts.
Students living in these residential communities get better grades, interact more with faculty, and just enjoy living with their peers who are pursuing similar degrees and interests.
