Patrick Alderdice joined the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors in November 2017.
Alderdice graduated from Ball State in 1992 with a degree in political science. He is involved with Delta Chi Fraternity, the Student Government Association, and University Senate.
Currently, Alderdice works at Pennington & Company as CEO of the full-service fundraising, consulting, and alumni relations firm based in Lawrence, Kansas. Prior to his time with Pennington & Company, he served with Delta Chi as a leadership consultant, director of chapter development, and director of chapter services. He also served as a past president of the Fraternity & Sorority Political Action Committee.
He has been recognized by many Greek organizations, including awards from Delta Chi, Theta Pi, and Phi Kappa Psi, and has received multiple Intrafraternalism service awards and the Meritorious Service Award. He also works with the Alumni Board of Trustees of Delta Chi, Kansas Chapter, and is an annual presenter of the "State of the Industry Report" for the North-American Interfraternity Conference Foundation (NICF).
When he's not at work, Alderdice enjoys traveling and adventures. He's climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Everest base camp, the Grand Canyon, and Torres Del Pain National Park in Chile. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife, Jennifer, and his daughter, Emily.
