Richard J. Hall
Richard J. Hall joined the foundation board in 2011.
Hall is a partner at the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP and practices in the area of governmental services and finance. There he represents counties, cities, towns, and school corporations with respect to the financing of local infrastructure projects.
Hall earned his bachelor's degree at Ball State in 1989, where he earned four letters playing basketball and was the Cardinals captain in his senior year. He earned his law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law.
Hall was elected chair of the Ball State University Board of Trustees in January 2014. He joined the trustee board in 2007 and served as secretary from 2011 until his election as chair. He previously served as assistant secretary.
