Gifts of Cash
The simplest and fastest way to give to Ball State is to write a check or to use your credit or debit card to make a gift on Ball State’s secure online giving site. Your gift is transferred immediately to Ball State and is tax deductible. Or you may mail gifts to the Ball State University Foundation. Gifts of Securities
Gifts of securities, including stocks and bonds, to Ball State may be made with minimal out-of-pocket costs, and, when stock is transferred directly to the Ball State University Foundation, you do not have to pay capital gains tax. A planned, or deferred, gift — such as a bequest made through your will or a gift of life insurance — enables you to make a larger gift to Ball State than you may have thought possible, while providing financial security for you and your family.
