Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get season tickets?
Season tickets for the current season are available until October 6. For pricing information, please visit the Artist Series page by clicking the link on the upcoming events page. The new season is announced at the conclusion of the current season, usually around April of May. For information, please call the ticket office, 765-285-1539.

May I take photographs or record performances?
Professional photography and recording in any form are not allowed, including videography, professional grade cameras and flash. Some performers ask that no photography be allowed due to the nature of the performance. Please call the ticket office prior to attending the show to find out if cameras are allowed.

I am Ball State student. Can I receive benefits?
Ball State students are entitled to one free ticket to each of the Artist Series events and one free ticket to each of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra concerts held at Emens. To claim free tickets, students must bring a valid student ID to the Emens ticket office during business hours to have it scanned. Free tickets are available two weeks prior to each performance and are only available until 6 p.m. the night of the event. After that they will be $10. Many of the additional events throughout the season are just $5.

Are refunds or exchanges available?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds unless a show is canceled or rescheduled. If there are multiple performances, tickets may be exchanged for another performance. There is a $5 fee (per ticket).

Are group discounts available?
Yes. Most of the events do have discounts for groups of 20 or more. If you are interested in securing a block of seats for an educational institution or organization, please call our ticket office and we can discuss options with you. Group tickets must be purchased through the Emens ticket office.

What if I lost my tickets?
Tickets purchased through the Emens ticket office can be reprinted of the original purchaser for a $5 fee (per ticket). If you've purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, you'll need to call Ticketmaster to have those replaced. The toll-free number is 800-745-3000.

How long are the shows?
Each performance is different. Most performing arts events run approximately two hours. If you need the exact run time for a performance, please call the ticket office for assistance.
